I acknowledge that the land I live and work between sit on the traditional territories of the Boruca / Brunca (Térraba) peoples and other Indigenous peoples of Costa Rica. I also acknowledge that the other land I call home is located on Treaty 4 territory, the traditional and treaty lands of the Cree, Saulteaux, Dakota, Nakoda and Lakota peoples, and the homeland of the Métis Nation.

I honour and intend to learn from, their connection to these lands and waters.
