1. Monthly Outline/ Consulting

Through a reflection process we will uncover together an engaging project topic for your child. I will then create a simple project outline for your child with a checklist of activities for the month. You can reach out to me with (a reasonable amount) of questions of support through the month if needed.

I will often include a few of the following as well, depending on the child’s needs of the month:

• Invitations into Wonder

• Extension learning ideas

• Tools or supply list (frugal, minimalist, eco in mind)

• Online links to learning

• Options for guest experts

• Book recommendations

• Art and culture recommendations

• Experiment ideas

• STEM ideas

2. Community Building (optional)

This group is for very specific families that align (ish) on the big things: parenting approach, educational choices and view of children. By joining together in approach, values and passions, I believe we can create a solid foundation for ourselves and especially our children to walk forth in confidence and Power.

My vision with this community is a circle where we are all one of a group, all with wisdom to be shared. I hope we can discover ways we can support one another, work alongside one another, grow together, and share with one another.

The below are optional enhancements to support a connected community.

• Group Connections: Throughout the process we can weave connections in various ways. If children from multiple families are working on a similar theme or project this can allow for deepening of passions, shared learning and exciting conversations.

• Pen Pal Project: A writing project. Children will be paired based on a similar interest, strength, passion. My hope is it will be a fun way to expand connections with like minded families while building focus, patience and communication. Relationships formed could continue for life!

• Group Chat: Stay connected and inspired all month by sharing project photos and progress, asking for advice, offering inspirations within a whatsapp group.

• Monthly Focus: Themed monthly focus helping us all to slow into a family life rooted in rhythms that reflect values. Themes for each month can be chosen through a democratic process by the group. For example, Service, Gratitude, and Global Citizenship. I will send the group a suggested activity, recipe, or family experiences for the month.

3. Parent Support Group (optional)

The below are optional enhancements to support you in being the anchor for your family in a way that feels good.

I am not a parenting expert. I barely make it through some days and sometimes my well laid plans are derailed by heightened emotions, full moons, distractions. But I am fiercely passionate about my views of children and I’ve spent endless hours researching parenting approaches. I was an educator for 15 years and have explored various educational models across the world and now I am paid in my career to research topics related to early childhood.

• Monthly Support Group: A 90 minute monthly group meeting. Time for checking in and support and time for learning. I will prepare a brief workshop on topics I believe have been valuable for me to learn. There will also be topics that have been brought forth from the group. Parents are also welcome to sign up to present a topic of passion or interest.
  
  Topic examples: Responsive educating, supporting children through big emotions, child led learning, playborhoods, freedom within limits, nature based education.

• Quarterly Book Clubs: Adults. Bring your recommendations. Vote. Read. Meet. Discuss!
